According to the Anxiety and Depression Association of America, anxiety disorders are the most common mental health disorders in the U.S. Many people who suffer from them also have another mental illness like depression or an eating disorder.

Zach, a former patient in Rogers’ Eating Disorder Recovery inpatient and residential care, struggled with severe anxiety for as long as he can remember. He developed an eating disorder and was about to give up when he talked to his therapist about Rogers.

Zach says he’s grateful for the help he received.

“The tools I would practice at Rogers I still practice,” Zach says. “It’s all a work in progress. I’m still learning and figuring out what does and doesn’t work.”
