Although it has become trendy to say, “I’m OCD” when describing yourself as being organized or precise, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a serious mental health disorder. Obsessive thoughts, which are oftentimes accompanied by compulsive behaviors, become all-consuming and life altering.

But there is help and hope at Rogers Behavioral Health.

“If I had never come here, I would be a very unhappy person,” says Carter, a former patient in Rogers’ OCD and Anxiety Center children’s residential care. “Rogers definitely saved my life in more ways than one.”

In the video above, Carter and his parents return to Wisconsin to share what led them to residential care at Rogers and how it changed all their lives for the better.
