Body dysmorphic disorder (BDD), while common, is often a challenging condition as it frequently co-occurs with other psychiatric disorders and is associated with lower quality of life and a higher rate of suicide. In this webinar you’ll explore the current understanding of BDD and cognitive behavioral therapy as an effective treatment, examine literature on the effectiveness of pharmacotherapy and augmentation options, and analyze individual differences that must be considered to improve treatment outcomes for marginalized groups.
