How Rogers helps teens with mental health and chronic pain

Rogers Behavioral Health and Children’s Wisconsin have partnered to offer the Integrated Healing Program for Teens for those suffering from chronic pain and mental health challenges. This unique program provides a combination of intensive rehabilitative services, medical care, and mental health treatment.
Mental health treatment for teens
“We use cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy, teaching teens how their minds and bodies work together,” says Kristine Kim, PsyD, psychologist, clinical supervisor at Rogers in Brown Deer.
“They learn how to manage their pain and their emotions so they can function physically and psychologically,” says Kimberly J Anderson Khan, PsyD, pediatric clinical psychologist, Children’s Wisconsin.
