Primary Behavioral Health
Primary Behavioral Health is a group-based program for adults and adolescents who struggle with unresolved symptoms of unidentified, underlying mental health disorders or more than one mental health diagnoses. Using process-based cognitive behavioral therapy, clinicians target each person’s unique symptoms and coping strategies, instead of focusing on a diagnosis and its specific treatment approach.
“It’s a first stop when patients don’t know what kind of treatment they need to receive,” says Ajeng Puspitasari, PhD, LP, ABPP, psychologist and executive director of clinical services for Rogers in Appleton, Kenosha, Madison, Sheboygan, and Minnesota. “We want to build a skills toolbox for our patients, knowing different patients may need different types of treatment strategies.”
