Jordan says after traumatic events in her family she felt like she was losing control. She began to focus on what she could control, which was her eating and exercise. She was eventually diagnosed with an eating disorder during a visit with a primary care doctor. After a hospital stay where she says she was on death's door, Jordan realized she needed to accept help.

"I went straight from the hospital to Rogers," Jordan explains. "It was one of the hardest things I had to do, but slowly and surely, I realized I am not alone and that was eye opening for me. Rogers helped me reinvent myself because my identity was my eating disorder."

Jordan has made it her mission to help break the stigma surrounding eating disorders. You can hear that part of her story by clicking here.
