Presented by Brad E.R. Smith, MD, and Kaitlin Hill, PhD

While many practitioners are familiar with exposure therapy being used to treat OCD and anxiety disorders, they may not be aware of how it can be incorporated in eating disorder treatment. This webinar will build on attendees' existing knowledge of exposure therapy and demonstrate what response prevention looks like with eating disorders, examples of exposures, and pitfalls to avoid. Additional discussion will focus on empirically supported medications for eating disorders, including contraindications and how they impact treatment.
