Hana Zickgraf, PhD
Research Psychologist
Dr. Zickgraf’s research focuses on improving the identification, classification, and treatment of eating disorders across the lifespan. Dr. Zickgraf’s previous work has focused on avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID), the impact of food insecurity on the development of restrictive eating, orthorexia nervosa (impairing healthy eating preoccupation), and the efficacy and enhancement of exposure-based treatments for disordered eating.
Dr. Zickgraf earned her BA in Psychology and MA and PhD in Clinical Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania, in her hometown of Philadelphia. She completed her predoctoral clinical internship at Penn State Hershey College of Medicine, and a postdoctoral fellowship on the Midwestern Regional Eating Disorders T32 at the University of Chicago. Before joining the Research Center at Rogers, Dr. Zickgraf worked as an Assistant Professor of Psychology at the University of South Alabama and at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta in clinical program development.
Dr. Zickgraf is a licensed clinical psychologist with expertise in cognitive-behavioral treatment of pediatric anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorders, and eating disorders, and family-based treatment for eating disorders. In her free time, she enjoys thrift shopping, road trips, mountain hikes, and disc golf.
