Sonia Izmirian, PhD
Clinical Director, Psychologist
Sonia Izmirian, PhD, is a licensed psychologist and clinical director at Rogers in Denver, where she provides supervision and training to behavior specialists and therapists working with children, adolescents, and adults in the partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient levels of care. Her clinical interests focus primarily on anxiety and trauma related disorders.
Dr. Izmirian received her Bachelor of Arts in psychology at University of California, Los Angeles. She then earned her Master of Arts in clinical psychology at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa, where she also earned her Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology.
Prior to joining Rogers, Dr. Izmirian worked part-time at the Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic and part-time at the Children’s Hospital at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, where she conducted biopsychosocial assessments and treatment for adults and children both in-person and via telehealth.
Dr. Izmirian is a member of the American Psychological Association, National Register of Health Service Psychologists , and the Colorado Psychological Association.
