Matthew Boyer, MD

Psychiatrist

Matthew (Matt) Boyer, MD, is an addiction psychiatrist who is board-certified in both adult psychiatry and addiction psychiatry. He treats people with psychiatric and substance use disorders. Dr. Boyer earned his undergraduate degree from Penn State University, completed a postbaccalaureate program in premedical studies at the Harvard Extension School, and received his medical degree from the Marshall University School of Medicine. Dr. Boyer did residency training in adult psychiatry at Northwell Health. He served as the chief resident for ambulatory care in his final year of residency. He completed fellowship training in addiction psychiatry at NYU Langone Health.

Dr. Boyer is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry, and the American Society of Addiction Medicine.
