Rise Above: Preparing Children and Parents for the Transition to College

The transition from home life to college can cause a variety of emotions for both parents and their children. Students may feel excited launching into a new chapter of life, but the transition can also bring up feelings of grief because a chapter in their lives is closing as well. For parents, feelings of worry can take hold as they wonder if they've done enough to get their child ready for this next step. In today's episode of Rise Above, we talk with Rogers' therapist Zach Stenzel about ways to make sure children and parents are ready for this next chapter.
