Rising Above OCD | A Parent's Story
Jessica says from the time her son, Jake, was little, her family’s life revolved around his intense anxiety. From her first call to Rogers and throughout his subsequent treatment, she felt like they were finally in a place where people understood and were able to provide help and hope. Jake no longer felt alone or broken, and neither did Jessica. “I spent a lot of my parenting life feeling like I was a terrible parent,” says Jessica. “I think that’s part of the Rogers experience. It’s not just the child getting the intervention. It’s the whole family.”
