Rising Above | Advocacy After Treatment
Jana’s struggles with contamination OCD and depression led her to seek treatment with Rogers Behavioral Health. She says going to a treatment center was a big step for her, but she learned coping skills and met other people who shared similar struggles. Today, Jana is active with the Miss America organization and uses her platform to spread hope and break stigma around OCD, depression, and other mental health issues. “After my treatment I found that speaking out about my diagnoses was a way of healing as well as helping others,” she says.
