Rising Above Trauma: Barb's Story

Growing up, Barb did well in school and was the first person in her family to go to college. After having a career as a newspaper reporter, she went back to college and earned her law degree, and eventually became an Assistant District Attorney who prosecuted child abuse cases. It wasn't until Barb retired though, and found her way to Rogers Behavioral Health, that she was able to rise above her own personal traumas.

At Rogers, we understand how damaging trauma can be to someone's well-being, and we have the experience and evidence-based trauma treatment to help. Your treatment plan is specifically designed for your needs. Our Trauma Recovery Care is based on a proven-effective method that helps reduce your anxiety related to the traumatic event.
