Intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization in Hinsdale
Children, teens, and adults can access specialized partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) treatment at Rogers in Hinsdale. We offer help for those struggling with mental health and co-occurring addiction disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder and anxiety, trauma (posttraumatic stress disorder), and depression and other mood disorders.
Our two levels of care allow each patient a significant amount of time in treatment, while still maintaining a regular home schedule and strong network of family and friends.
Rogers Connect Care, our telehealth option for select PHP and IOP programming, is currently available to residents living in Illinois, Minnesota, Tennessee, and Wisconsin.
Virtual family support group available
Rogers in Hinsdale offers a free, virtual family support group for parents, spouses, and family members of someone struggling with mental illness or addiction. The group meets the second and fourth Tuesday of every month, 6 to 7 pm CT. Please email angela.molloy@rogersbh.org for more information.
Primary Behavioral Health
When you experience repetitive negative thoughts, avoid activities you once enjoyed, have difficulty managing your emotions, or experience another challenging mental health symptom, it can be difficult to make the changes needed to regain the life you enjoy.
In our Primary Behavioral Health program, adults learn to understand their current coping strategies and how these strategies impact their mental health. While building foundational life skills, individuals gain the tools they need to succeed on their mental health journey and live a more fulfilling life. Skill development is guided by evidence-based cognitive behavioral therapy strategies that are commonly shared across behavioral activation, exposure and response prevention (ERP), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).
Depression and other mood disorders
Do you need more than traditional outpatient counseling to help manage your depression or another mood disorder? We can help with an individualized treatment plan. Our experienced team of professionals, led by a board-certified adult psychiatrist and a highly trained psychologist, will help reduce symptoms and provide the tools needed to succeed for children, teens, and adults.
Our evidence-based therapy for these services include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT); behavioral activation (BA); dialectical behavior therapy (DBT)-informed skills; medication management; and individual, group and family sessions.
OCD and anxiety
Rogers is recognized nationally for treatment of OCD and related anxiety disorders. We can help you, your child, or your teen address compulsive behaviors, such as rituals, avoidance, or overwhelming fears.
We focus on evidence-based therapies for OCD, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT); exposure and response prevention (ERP); medication management ; and individual, group and family sessions. Our primary goal is to help you learn strategies to reduce your symptoms and support you for the rest of your life.
A virtual IOP option is available for adults located in the state of Illinois.
Mental health and addiction
Rogers provides leading, specialized treatment for adults struggling with mental health issues and addiction at the same time. To effectively treat this, it’s critical to identify and treat mental health issues such as OCD and anxiety, or depression and other mood disorders, along with the addiction.
Our treatment involves an evidence-based approach, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), twelve step facilitation (TSF) therapy, and motivational enhancement therapy (MET).
Trauma (PTSD)
When you or someone you love has experienced or witnessed a life-threatening or traumatic event, we are here to help you begin living the life you want with a treatment plan specifically designed to meet your needs.
Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), emphasizing prolonged exposure, will help your or your loved one reduce anxiety related to the traumatic event. Other components of care include group therapy, acceptance, self-compassion and mindfulness strategies, patient and family education, individual therapy and medication management.
