Marissa says she was 16 when her mental health journey started.
“I had thoughts that were very embarrassing,” Marissa says. “I had no idea what was going on.”
Marissa worked up the courage to talk with her parents. She was eventually diagnosed with OCD and prescribed medication.
Fast forward to a move away from her family and several life challenges. Marissa felt overwhelmed to the point of having suicidal thoughts. After spending two weeks in the hospital, her care team recommended OCD and Anxiety treatment at Rogers in Oconomowoc.
