Sim Yin Tan, PhD, is a licensed psychologist and clinical supervisor at Rogers Behavioral Health in Tampa. Dr. Tan provides clinical supervision and training within the Child and Adolescent partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs for OCD and anxiety, depression and other mood disorders, eating disorders, and anxiety and depression in autism spectrum disorders.
Dr. Tan earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Bemidji State University in Minnesota. She then completed her Master of Science and Educational Specialist Degrees in School Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Prior to her doctoral training, Dr. Tan provided educational, behavioral, and mental health consultations within the public school system. She received her PhD in School Psychology from the University of South Florida and completed her pre-doctoral internship and post-doctoral fellowship at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. Dr. Tan received extensive training in cognitive-behavioral therapy, with a specific focus on exposure-response prevention, habit-reversal training, and behavioral parent training. She has authored and co-authored several peer-reviewed publications in the field of school psychology, pediatric mental health, and parent-child interaction therapy.
