Loren Post, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist and serves as clinical director of Rogers Behavioral Health in Atlanta. Dr. Post specializes in evidence-based cognitive-behavioral treatments for posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and anxiety and mood disorders. She has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and has presented at national conferences including Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA), Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT), and International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. Dr. Post has also been the recipient of the Alies Muskin Career Development Leadership Award through ADAA and the Early Career Women Faculty Leadership Development Award through the Association of American Medical Colleges. She is passionate about working within a clinic striving to advance mental health care through the integration of practice, science, and clinical teaching.
Prior to joining Rogers, Dr. Post was an assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Emory University School of Medicine and associate research director and clinical psychologist in the Emory Healthcare Veterans Program.
Dr. Post earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with honors and Gender and Sexuality Studies from New York University and her PhD from Case Western Reserve University with training in the PTSD Treatment and Research Program. She completed her predoctoral internship at the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System and her postdoctoral fellowship in the Trauma and Anxiety Recovery Program at Emory University School of Medicine and the Emory Healthcare Veterans Program. She is a member of ADAA, ABCT, and American Psychological Association (APA) and has served (2019-2021) in the elected position of Secretary of Division 56 Trauma Psychology within APA.
