Kevin Kuntz, MD

Psychiatrist

A board-certified general adult psychiatrist, Kevin D. Kuntz, MD, currently treats patients at Rogers' Madison location, working primarily with adults in partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient care. Before joining Rogers, Dr. Kuntz was a faculty member of the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health Department of Psychiatry. He served adult patients in a variety of clinical settings. As a clinical associate professor, he also taught medical students, supervised resident physicians and lectured staff. His administrative roles included management of mental health services for insurance providers, implementation of electronic medical records, and oversight of the University of Wisconsin Medical Foundation's retirement system. Other past experience includes partnership in Physicians Plus Medical Group, a multi-specialty practice in Madison.

A graduate of the University of Iowa College of Medicine, Dr. Kuntz completed his psychiatric internship and residency at the University of Vermont School of Medicine. He is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is a member of the Neuroscience Education Institute. Interested in all psychiatric disorders and well versed in a variety of psychotherapies, he blends a therapeutic background with his work in psychopharmacology to individualize treatment plans for his patients, each of whom he sees as unique.
