Heather M. Jones, PhD, is a licensed psychologist who directs the clinical services for inpatient and outpatient care at Rogers Behavioral Health in Oconomowoc. Dr. Jones specializes in utilizing cognitive behavioral-based interventions for individuals with mood and anxiety disorders. Dr. Jones is engaged in program development and process improvement of clinical services. In addition, she is responsible for training and supervision of clinical staff and monitoring of treatment delivery to ensure patients receive high quality empirically supported care.
Prior to this, she worked as a clinical supervisor at Rogers’ Oconomowoc location where she provided clinical assessments, consultation, and supervision of therapists and behavioral specialists working with children and adolescents in OCD and Anxiety Residential Care and adolescents and adults in Depression Recovery across all levels of care.
In 2007, she completed a dual degree graduate program at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, earning both a Master of Science degree in Educational Psychology and an Education Specialist degree in School Psychology. She received her doctoral degree in Educational Psychology with an emphasis in School Psychology from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee in 2014. Dr. Jones has received specialized training in exposure therapy, behavioral activation, and dialectical behavioral therapy that has informed her supervision of clinical services.
Dr. Jones, has co-presented workshop sessions at national conferences, including the Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA) and American Psychological Association (APA). In addition, she frequently presents at local and regional conferences and school districts on the topics of school refusal, the intersection of mental health and education, the impact of media use in adolescence, and parenting children with anxiety and depression.
