Christopher Lowden, MD

Christopher Lowden, MD, is a board-certified psychiatrist who works with adults enrolled in the Depression Recovery, Mental Health and Addiction Recovery, and OCD and Anxiety partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient levels of care at Rogers Behavioral Health in Hinsdale.

Dr. Lowden graduated with distinction from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology. He then earned his Doctor of Medicine from the Loyola University of Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. Dr. Lowden completed his residency training at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and held the position of chief resident of psychiatry during his final year. In addition to working at various mental healthcare systems, Dr. Lowden also worked as a clinical assistant professor at the University of Chicago. In his previous position, Dr. Lowden was responsible for initiating and organizing new therapeutic programming catering to the young adult population within Northwestern Medicine at the Central DuPage Hospital partial hospitalization program.

He is a member of the Neuroscience Education Institute, Illinois Psychiatric Society, and American Psychiatric Association.
