Cesalie Stepney, PhD

Clinical Director, Psychologist

Cesalie Stepney, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist and clinical director at Rogers Behavioral Health in Seattle. She specializes in the evaluation and treatment of anxiety disorders and OCD, depression, and emotion dysregulation in children and adolescents. Additionally, she has a strong interest in working with BIPOC populations and gender diverse youth.

Dr. Stepney received her Bachelor of Science in psychology at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. She then earned her Master of Education at Harvard Graduate School of Education in Cambridge, Massachusetts followed by a master’s degree in psychology at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey in New Brunswick. Dr. Stepney completed her doctoral internship in clinical and community psychology at Yale School of Medicine in New Haven, Connecticut. She then earned her PhD in Clinical Psychology at Rutgers. Her postdoctoral fellowship was completed at the University of Washington in Seattle.

Prior to joining Rogers, Dr. Stepney, was a clinical psychologist at Seattle Children’s in Seattle, Washington, where she was the director of the anxiety training clinic, as well as an attending psychologist in the Dialectical Behavior Therapy program, and in the Adolescent Medicine gender clinic and integrated care teams.

Dr. Stepney is a member of the American Psychological Association and the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies.
