Our team is backed by strong medical and clinical leadership in a private, non-academic setting. More than 75 board-certified psychiatrists and 40 psychologists, are part of a medical staff of nearly 150 who are specialists in mental health and addiction who work as a team and partner with a premier multidisciplinary group of behavioral specialists, nurses, therapists, and dietitians.

Ahmed Numaan, MD

Medical Director, Adult Care in Brown Deer, Psychiatrist

Ahmed Numaan, MD, is a board-certified adult psychiatrist who is the medical director of adult care at Rogers Behavioral Health in Brown Deer. Dr. Numaan joined our medical staff in 2008 as a full-time attending psychiatrist at Rogers' West Allis location. Prior to joining Rogers, Dr. Numaan served as medical director of the behavioral health unit at St. Joseph Hospital in West Bend.

Dr. Numaan completed his residency and served as chief resident at the University of Kansas Medical Center in the psychiatry department. Before his residency, Dr. Numaan served as a research assistant in the Jules F. Knapp Research Center at the University of Chicago and also as a clinical research associate at Rush Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago. Dr. Numaan is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and previously served as the vice president for the American Association of Emergency Psychiatry, Midwest region.
