Peggy Scallon, MD, DFAPA, DFAACAP

Peggy Scallon, MD, DFAPA, DFAACAP, is a board-certified child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist who serves as the medical director of Focus Depression Recovery Adolescent Residential Care at Rogers Behavioral Health in Oconomowoc. Additionally, she is senior medical director for Rogers' Oconomowoc campus.
Dr. Scallon earned her medical degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health. She completed a three-year general psychiatry residency at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver, followed by a two-year fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison.
Prior to joining Rogers, Dr. Scallon was a clinical associate professor and the director of the residency training program in child and adolescent psychiatry with the UW School of Medicine and Public Health. She has been honored for teaching excellence by her colleagues on the faculty at the UW-Madison.
In addition to her extensive clinical and teaching experience, Dr. Scallon has served as an oral board examiner for the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in the subspecialty of child and adolescent psychiatry. In 2015, Dr. Scallon was named a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association (APA) and in 2021 she was named a Distinguished Fellow of both the APA and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP).
Dr. Scallon is an active member of the APA, AACP, the Wisconsin Psychiatric Association, Wisconsin Council of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, the Wisconsin Medical Society, and the American Medical Association.
