Rogers Behavioral Health–Minneapolis opens its doors today in Eden Prairie, MN, bringing local access to specialized outpatient services for children and teens facing obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) or related anxiety disorders, and adults struggling with depression and other mood disorders. Services for adults with OCD and anxiety, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and eating disorders will follow later this summer.
The Minneapolis office at 6442 City West Parkway, Suite 200, is a regional extension of the behavioral health system headquartered in Oconomowoc, WI, and has a capacity for 80 patients when all programs are up and running. Rogers–Minneapolis offers treatment six hours a day, five days a week in what’s referred to as a partial hospital level of care. Intensive outpatient programs—or treatment which occurs five days a week, three hours a day—will be added eventually.
Tracey Lichner, PhD, LP, is the clinical director. Dr. Lichner is an expert in the evidence-based treatment and assessment of anxiety disorders, OCD and PTSD. In addition to her leadership role with Rogers, she maintains an independent practice in Minneapolis conducting psychotherapy, training and consultation.
Dr. Lichner oversees care in Minneapolis with Stephanie Eken, MD, a board-certified psychiatrist (child and adolescent, and adult), pediatrician and regional medical director for Rogers, and Jason Russell, director of operations. The on-site treatment team of psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses and behavioral therapists is supplemented by telepsychiatry services linking psychiatrists from across the Rogers system.
“I appreciate the quality of services Rogers is known for; we complement services available locally, particularly in these specialty areas of mental health. We look forward to working together with patients, families and referring providers to help kids, teens and adults gain critical skills to help cope with the challenges they face,” says Dr. Lichner.
This is the fourth specialized outpatient location opened by Rogers Behavioral Health. Others are in Tampa, FL; Skokie, IL; and Nashville, TN. To schedule a screening at Rogers–Minneapolis, call 844-599-8959.
