Rogers Behavioral Health now in network with TRICARE, offering military members treatment access

Rogers Behavioral Health has taken a significant step forward in our commitment to serving our military members and is now able to provide treatment to individuals and their families who have TRICARE West benefits.

Managed by the Department of Defense’s Defense Health Agency, TRICARE is a health care program for uniformed service members, retirees, and their families. Regional contractors provide health care services and support beyond what’s available at military hospitals and clinics. Rogers has become a TRICARE contracted provider for intensive outpatient care (IOP) in the West Region, which is managed by the contractor Health Net Federal Services. The West Region includes California, Colorado, Washington, and Minnesota.

This allows Rogers to offer IOP to active-duty service members, active-duty family members, retired services members and their families, National Guard and Reserve members and their family members, survivors and transitional survivors, medal of honor recipients and their immediate family members in network.

“We are pleased to be able to broaden our scope of care to meet the needs of new populations in the communities we serve,” says Cindy Meyer, MSSW, Rogers' president and CEO. “This development marks a pivotal moment in our journey to provide our services to those who have served and continue to serve our nation. Our dedication to supporting the health and well-being of our armed forces is stronger than ever.”

Rae Anne Ho Fung, PhD, LP, executive director of clinical integration for West Allis, Brown Deer, and Oconomowoc partial and intensive outpatient programs, agrees.

“As an Army Veteran and an advocate for improved access to mental healthcare for fellow Veterans, military service members, and their families, I see this as a huge win,” says Dr. Ho Fung. “I am incredibly proud to be a part of an organization that has worked diligently to secure a contract with TRICARE West. We are honored to be able to serve the military community and look forward to future opportunities to expand access to care.”

Rogers is also now a TRICARE certified non-contracted provider for IOP in the TRICARE East Region, which is managed by the contractor Humana Military. That East Region includes Illinois, Georgia, Miami, Tampa, and Wisconsin. While not allowing us to see TRICARE Prime active-military service members, Rogers can still treat their beneficiaries.
