Rogers Behavioral Health has more than 20 years of commitment and investment in outcomes studies, with nearly 10,000 of our patients participating. Patients who agree to participate are asked at admission and discharge to complete a series of questionnaires; follow-up calls on progress are made periodically after discharge.
Family involvement is a key part of Rogers’ therapeutic approach for many of our child and adolescent treatments. Peggy Scallon, MD, FAPA, medical director of the FOCUS Adolescent Mood Disorders Program in Oconomowoc, explains in this video how Rogers’ Friends and Family University helps educate parents in the treatment, recovery, and mental health support of their children.
Jennifer Park, PhD is the clinical director of Rogers Behavioral Health–San Francisco East Bay. She discusses clinical outcomes that Rogers uses to guide treatment.
Rogers Behavioral Health's Rachel C. Leonard, PhD discusses how Behavioral Activation will be used in the new FOCUS Program for Mood Disorders.
A ropes course is more than an adventure: it's an opportunity to gain confidence, step outside of your comfort zone, and understand the importance of a support system. Patients at Rogers residential care in Oconomowoc participate in a new Challenge Course, where they can climb the rock wall, zipline, and explore the course's other obstacles, all with the guidance and support of trained experiential therapists. The Challenge Course demonstrates the importance of trusting in yourself and others, which translates into greater confidence in life after treatment.
When Marissa Baylerian heard there were 500 children and teens throughout Rogers’ Wisconsin locations who would be in treatment over the holidays, she knew instantly she wanted to help make their season brighter.
Communication and collaboration are keys to keeping kids on track in schools. Supporting the academic, social and emotional learning of students is a priority for any school district. Rogers hospital collaborates with many districts in order to offer expanded resources to struggling students. This partnership combines the experience and expertise of Rogers Child and Adolescent Day Treatment staff with an academic tutoring environment. This synergistic approach provides students with the extra attention they may need to stay on track in school.
