CBT for pediatric OCD: Extending the reach and effectiveness of treatment

Rogers Behavioral Health in Los Angeles invites you to join us for an in-person CE seminar, “CBT for pediatric OCD: Extending the reach and effectiveness of treatment.” This seminar offers intermediate-level clinicians the opportunity to earn 5.0 CE credits.

In this presentation, you will learn more about recent findings and the clinical application of empirically supported methods to treat OCD in children and adolescents. Dr. Franklin will set the stage with a critical review of pediatric OCD treatment literature, with Dr. Piacentini building on this information through discussion of the rates and potential influence of psychiatric comorbidity on treatment outcomes. Following lunch, Dr. Franklin will review common clinical pitfalls and recommendations to navigate these risk factors, concluding with a discussion led by Dr. Piacentini on family factors associated poorer outcomes and how to address these concerns.
