Dr. Klein completed his child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at the Yale School of Medicine Child Study Center and Yale-New Haven Hospital. His psychiatry residency training was completed at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. He attended medical school at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine - Bradenton.
Dr. Klein received Press Ganey recognition for his work in psychiatry as a result of helping patients achieve their goals while providing compassionate care. He also enjoys teaching and received the Outstanding Medical Student Education Award and the Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award, presented to physicians who exhibit humanity, excellence in teaching, and leadership. He has provided psychiatric lectures, individual mentorship, and interview tutoring to medical students at Yale University School of Medicine. Additionally, he has conducted research on the topic of parenting and its effects on children’s adjustment to college, which is published in a peer reviewed journal.
Dr. Klein is a member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Gold Humanism Honor Society, American Psychiatric Association, and American Osteopathic Association.
