Our team is backed by strong medical and clinical leadership in a private, non-academic setting. More than 75 board-certified psychiatrists and 40 psychologists, are part of a medical staff of nearly 150 who are specialists in mental health and addiction who work as a team and partner with a premier multidisciplinary group of behavioral specialists, nurses, therapists, and dietitians.

Derrick L. Ellis

Vice president of Operations, West Allis Inpatient Services

Derrick L. Ellis is vice president of Operations for West Allis Inpatient Services at Rogers Behavioral Health.

Derrick joined Rogers in 2019 as director of operations for the Atlanta clinic, where he oversaw its opening in 2020 and built a successful clinic and positive culture. His nearly 20 years of leadership and behavioral health experience include roles in inpatient, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient levels of care. He also served and retired from the United States Army as a senior logistician.

Derrick earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Columbia College and his master’s degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology from the University of Phoenix. He is in the process of completing his doctorate in behavioral health from Arizona State University. Derrick is also a member of several organizations, including the American College of Healthcare Executives and American Psychological Association.
