In this episode of Rise Above, a podcast from Rogers Behavioral Health, we begin a powerful conversation about women, substance use recovery, and the courage it takes to be honest.
Page Feller from Rogers Behavioral Health sits down with Christina and Elizabeth, two women in recovery who share their lived experiences with addiction, motherhood, shame, faith, and healing. In this first part of their conversation, Elizabeth opens up about trying to hold everything together on the outside while struggling silently on the inside, and what it took to finally feel safe enough to ask for help.
This episode also introduces WORTH IT For Her, a Rogers Behavioral Health program designed specifically for women in substance use treatment. WORTH IT For Her recognizes that women often enter treatment carrying layers of responsibility, trauma, perfectionism, and expectation, and that recovery must address more than substance use alone. The program creates space for women to explore mental health, relationships, identity, motherhood, and lived experience in a supportive, compassionate environment.
