Burnout can be a challenge for parents during school breaks. “What we know about parents today is that about 45% of individuals with children feel a sense of being overwhelmed almost all the time,” says Heather Jones, PhD, vice president of Clinical Services. “As a parent, just know that it’s okay to not feel okay. One of the most powerful things we can do as parents is to take some time to rejuvenate ourselves and by doing so, we model for our children the ability to do that in their own lives.”
