Cynthia (Cindy) Meyer, MSSW, is President and CEO of Rogers Behavioral Health, where she leads the organization’s strategic vision and growth. Under her leadership, Rogers has significantly expanded access to behavioral healthcare through the opening of new outpatient clinics, the rapid expansion of virtual care services, the development of innovative treatment models, and the creation of the organization’s Primary Behavioral Health model. Meyer has also championed efforts to reduce wait times and improve the speed at which patients can access care, while fostering a strong workforce culture, deepening community partnerships, and driving operational transformation across the health system.
Joining Rogers in 2022 as Chief Operating Officer, Meyer oversaw three inpatient hospitals, 17 residential programs in Wisconsin, outpatient clinics in more than 20 communities nationwide, and Supportive Living services in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. During her tenure, she led substantial operational growth, expanded clinical capacity, strengthened physician recruitment and engagement, accelerated admissions, and advanced the organization’s ability to meet increasing demand for specialty behavioral healthcare. With more than 30 years of behavioral health leadership experience, Meyer has an extensive background in healthcare operations, program expansion, workforce development, and community integration. Prior to Rogers, she served as Chief Operating Officer for HealthONE/The Medical Center of Aurora and the Denver Market, Regional Vice President for Behavioral Health at HCA’s Capital Division, and Regional CEO of Streamwood, formerly part of Acadia Healthcare.
A passionate advocate for improving access to mental healthcare, Meyer is dedicated to ensuring individuals and families receive timely, high-quality behavioral health services. She serves on the National Association for Behavioral Health Board of Trustees and the Ronald McDonald House Charities Board of Directors in Milwaukee. Her previous board service includes Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado, NAMI Colorado, Mental Health Colorado, and the American Hospital Association Behavioral Constituency Board.
Meyer earned her bachelor’s degree from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, and her Master of Science in Social Work from the Kent School of Social Work at the University of Louisville.
