Proposed Rogers Behavioral Health Campus in Chippewa Falls, WI

A modern building complex with large windows, stone, and wooden exterior. There are people walking, parked cars, and a roundabout with a small tree in front.

Rogers Behavioral Health has purchased an 18-acre, wooded site in Chippewa Falls, for a proposed full-service behavioral health campus that offers a complete continuum of care for adults, teens and children that ensures individuals can receive the right treatment at the right time without leaving the comfort and support of their own community.

Similar to our Oconomowoc, WI campus, the location offers natural surroundings for walking paths and reflection areas, promoting healing and mental wellbeing. With space for inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and traditional outpatient care, the campus is designed to grow with the needs of the Chippewa Valley while providing a private, healing environment.

Rogers Chippewa Valley campus project updates

9/29/25 – Rogers Behavioral Health is excited to announce Wisconsin-based Miron Construction has been selected as our building partner for the new Chippewa Falls Behavioral Health facility.  Leading from their office in Lake Hallie, Miron understands the importance of this investment to the local community and is committed to prioritizing local subcontractor participation on this project.  Not only will this new facility provide significant value to the people of Chippewa Falls, the project will provide a substantial economic benefit to the local community as well.  Together, Miron and Rogers will work together to create a strategy and opportunity that identifies the talents and capacity of local providers in order to effectively engage them on this development.  Miron will take the lead in coordinating trade contractor outreach meetings so that local firms understand the timing of scope of bidding opportunities and can plan accordingly. Rogers is excited to work with the local community to make this important facility a reality.

Why are we coming to the Chippewa Valley?

In conversations with community members, we understand that behavioral health is a top priority in the Chippewa Valley, including Chippewa, Eau Claire, and Dunn counties. Local groups have identified the rising need for services and care for suicide prevention as urgent concerns.

Between 2013 and 2017, Chippewa County saw 20 suicide deaths for every 100,000 people, which is higher than the Wisconsin average of approximately 14 deaths per 100,000. Even though it’s gotten a little easier to see a mental health provider in some areas of the County, there are still not enough behavioral healthcare services. Hospitals and clinics are stretched thin, and people often have to wait a long time for help. These challenges show why it’s so important to add more services, improve crisis support, and work together to make sure everyone gets the support they need.

Oconomowoc, Wisconsin - Nestled in the communities of Wisconsin’s scenic lake country, Rogers Oconomowoc campus offers safe, compassionate care for children, teens, and adults. Oconomowoc is where we began providing trusted care in 1907, and we are proud to continue helping individuals make positive changes in their lives.

Cindy Meyer, President and CEO“What has made this journey especially meaningful is the way so many people have come together to make it possible. From community leaders and lawmakers to healthcare professionals and advocates, each person played a role in moving this vision forward. It has never been about one organization or one individual, but rather about a shared commitment to doing the right thing for those who need care most. The collaboration, willingness to listen, and the collective drive to achieve the same goal is what makes this so powerful. It is a reminder that when people unite around a common purpose, we can create something truly lasting and transformative.”
