(OCONOMOWOC, Wis.) Rogers Behavioral Health, a leading, nationwide not-for-profit provider of behavioral health services, is expanding its presence in the Chicago area with a new clinic in Hinsdale at 907 N Elm St., Suite 300. Based in Wisconsin, Rogers has locations in seven states, including a clinic in Skokie that opened in 2015.

The Hinsdale clinic offers treatment options for children, teens, and adults struggling with addiction and a co-occurring mental health disorder (dual diagnosis), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), anxiety, depression and other mood disorders, and posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Dr. Paula R. Young, PhD, serves as clinical director for Rogers’ new clinic in Hinsdale as well as its existing location in Skokie. Medical leadership also includes psychiatrists Dr. Nouzha Tazi, MD, and Dr. Andrea Uribe, DO.

Rogers offers specialized outpatient care for patients with access to a board-certified psychiatrist and a multidisciplinary team of mental health experts. In this type of care, individuals attend treatment sessions for several hours a day, five days a week, while maintaining connections with family, work or school.

“With this latest expansion in Hinsdale we’re able to bring our specialized behavioral health services to more people in need of mental health and addiction treatment in the Chicago area,” says Pat Hammer, CEO and president of Rogers Behavioral Health. “Our continued growth speaks to the increased demand from our local communities for treatment that’s proven to work.”

Innovative, nationally-recognized programs for OCD, anxiety, and depression

Rogers offers some of the most comprehensive programs for OCD and depression in the country, the two most common mental health issues. Leaders in psychiatry and psychology across the Rogers system treat more patients daily for OCD than any other behavioral health provider, and FOCUS programs offer clinically-effective treatment of depression, bipolar disorder, and other mood disorders.

Evidence-based approach for treating dual diagnosis

Nearly one-third of people with mental illness also have an addiction to drugs or alcohol (dual diagnosis). Research shows the best way to reduce symptoms is to treat mental health and addiction issues at the same time. With treatment teams led by experts in psychiatry, addiction medicine, and mental health, Rogers offers evidence-based treatment plans that are tailored to individuals with a dual diagnosis.
