Rogers Behavioral Health coronavirus response

Rogers Behavioral Health coronavirus response

As a leading provider of behavioral health services, Rogers has taken significant steps to continue serving patients with mental health and addiction challenges while doing everything we can to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. Our top priority is keeping our patients and employees healthy and safe.

Our dedicated Coronavirus Command Center includes our senior leadership team and is led by our chief medical officer, chief clinical officer, and infection control leader. We have implemented comprehensive health and safety protocols and coronavirus response plans for all Rogers locations.

We are:

  • Accepting patients to our inpatient and residential levels of care in Wisconsin onsite at this time, and we have immediate availability in several programs.
  • Screening all patients upon admission, and other appropriate screening and monitoring is occurring daily during treatment for all levels of care.
  • Temporarily restricting visitors to all sites.
  • Restricting family participation for child and adolescent programs to one adult (must be the same adult each day). We know this is difficult for families with loved ones in treatment, and we are making video options available for families to be able to connect with patients.
  • Discontinuing site tours, public outings for patients in residential and outpatient care, and residential day passes.
  • Using updated cleaning protocols to disinfect all surfaces frequently with EPA approved products
  • Requiring the highest level of risk prevention with frequent hand washing
  • Eliminating nonessential employee business travel and onsite support groups and events involving the general public
  • Supporting our employees with enhanced child care benefits so that they can care for patients even when schools are not in session
  • Giving employees detailed guidance on caring for patients, monitoring any symptoms they may develop, testing, and self-seclusion as warranted

Rogers will continue to monitor the status of the coronavirus, taking our guidance from the CDC and allocating resources as appropriate.

Because many of our patients are experiencing life-threatening conditions, we are doing everything possible to ensure we can continue treatment in all levels of care. We take that responsibility seriously, and we are using every precaution to provide a clean and safe environment for all involved. If patients and families make individual choices to delay treatment, we respect their decisions, but we will be here for those who need us.

We appreciate your support and understanding during these challenging times, and we wish you and your loved ones the best.
