Timothy Ellingstad, PhD

Clinical Director, Psychologist

Timothy Ellingstad, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist and clinical director at Rogers Behavioral Health in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Dr. Ellingstad trains and supervises behavioral specialists and therapists who work in partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient levels of care. His clinical focus is on treating substance use disorders.

Dr. Ellingstad received his Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. He completed a pre-doctoral internship at the University of California at San Diego/La Jolla Veterans Administration Healthcare System. He earned his PhD in Clinical Psychology at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Dr. Ellingstad then completed his post-doctoral fellowship in psychology at the University of California, San Diego’s Department of Psychology.

Prior to joining Rogers, Dr. Ellingstad was a clinical psychologist at Aurora Medical Group, Behavioral Health, where he did outpatient treatment, psychological testing and assessments, and hospital consultation for adults and adolescents with general mental health disorders and substance use disorders.
