M. Tanja Zincke, MD, MPH

Medical Director, Adult Inpatient Care, Brown Deer

M. Tanja Zincke, MD, MPH, is a board-certified psychiatrist who serves as the medical director of adult inpatient care at Rogers’ Brown Deer hospital campus. Dr. Zincke’s primary clinical focus is on treating adults with acute psychiatric and substance use disorders. Her major research interest is the intersection between medicine and psychiatry, and she has several academic papers published in peer-reviewed journals.

A graduate of the American Medical Program at Tel Aviv University in Israel, Dr. Zincke completed her psychiatry residency training at Rutgers University in Newark, New Jersey, and at Mount Sinai Cabrini Medical Center in New York City, as well as a general surgery residency training at Beth Israel Medical Center. She completed a clinical psychiatry fellowship at the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona, and a fellowship in public psychiatry at New York University.

In addition to her medical degree, Dr. Zincke holds a Master of Public Health degree with a specialization in global health from George Washington University in Washington, DC. This graduate degree focuses on the design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of health programs to improve outcomes.

Dr. Zincke is a clinical assistant professor of psychiatry at the Medical College of Wisconsin and a member of the American Psychiatric Association.
