Lalit K. Singh, MD, MPH, FASAM
Medical Director, Mental Health and Addiction Recovery Adolescent Residential Care, Psychiatrist
Lalit K. Singh, MD, MPH, FASAM, is triple board certified in adult, child/adolescent psychiatry and addiction medicine. He works as the medical director of Mental Health and Addiction Recovery adolescent residential care in West Allis. His areas of clinical interest include attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) across the life span, mood disorders, anxiety disorders and substance use disorders in teenagers. In addition to his clinical work here, he supervises third year medical students and addiction psychiatry fellows from Medical College of Wisconsin. He is also a clinical assistant professor of psychiatry at Medical College of Wisconsin.
Dr. Singh is a graduate of the Mahatma Gandhi Mission's Medical College in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India. He earned his Master of Public Health degree from Wichita State University in Wichita, Kansas. He completed his general psychiatry residency training at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama, and a child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.
Prior to joining Rogers, Dr. Singh worked as an attending child and adolescent psychiatrist with Alta Pointe Health Systems in Alabama. In addition to his clinical work, he served as assistant professor of psychiatry at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, where he was involved in the teaching of medical students and clinical supervision of psychiatry residents and child/adolescent psychiatry fellows.
Dr. Singh has presented research posters at regional psychiatric conferences as well as national meetings. He is a member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and American Society of Addiction Medicine.
