Agnes Costello, MD

Psychiatrist

Agnes Costello, MD, is a board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrist at Rogers Behavioral Health in Hinsdale, Illinois, where she works with children struggling with OCD and anxiety and depression.

Dr. Costello graduated from Ateneo de Manila University in Manila, Philippines, with a Bachelor of Science in psychology. She received her medical degree from the University of Santo Tomas School of Medicine in Manila. Dr. Costello completed her general psychiatry residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Illinois. She then completed her child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at the McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University.

Prior to joining Rogers, Dr. Costello was an attending physician in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Northwestern Medicine at Central DuPage Hospital, where she was responsible for outpatient medication management and therapy with additional coverage of various behavioral health services, including the Inpatient Adolescent Unit, Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program and Intensive Outpatient Program, and Pediatric Consult and Liaison Service.

Since 2018, Dr. Costello has served as an administrator/ moderator for a Facebook support group of over 4,000 members for Physician Mothers Supporting ADHD. Drawing from nearly 15 years of experience in outpatient, partial hospitalization, and inpatient psych treatment for children and adolescents, she educates physician parents around ADHD treatment, Neurodiversity and how they can advocate for more meaningful 504 accommodations and IEP goals for their children and patients.

Dr. Costello is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, the Illinois Psychiatric Society, the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and the Illinois Council of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
