Rogers Behavioral Health to break ground on new residential facilities in Oconomowoc

Facilities address increasing demand for eating disorder, OCD treatment

OCONOMOWOC, Wis. – Rogers Behavioral Health will celebrate breaking ground on two new residential facilities at its Oconomowoc campus on Tuesday, July 15, expanding access to much-needed care and allowing more individuals to receive treatment.

Meeting the growing demand for behavioral health treatment, a new 24-bed residential facility will provide eating disorder recovery services. Another planned 20-bed residential facility will be devoted to OCD treatment.

The new facilities represent a vital expansion of Rogers’ nationally recognized services offering individualized treatment that is backed by evidence. On Rogers’ 50-acre Oconomowoc campus surrounded by woods, lakes, and the area’s natural beauty, the new centers will serve as places of healing and hope for the community as well as those who come to Rogers from around the world.

“This new project reflects Rogers’ unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate care that empowers people to live more fulfilling lives,” said Cindy Meyer, president and CEO of Rogers. “We are expanding not just buildings, but hope, broadening access to critical treatment and meeting individuals where they are.”

While Rogers currently provides eating disorder recovery and OCD residential treatment in Oconomowoc, the new facilities will allow more patients to receive care faster.

“Both eating disorders and OCD can be highly challenging, but proper, accessible treatment can make all the difference,” said Rogers’ chief medical officer Jerry Halverson, MD, FACPsych, DFAPA. “With the addition of these new facilities, we are excited to show more individuals that new lives are possible, supporting them every step of the way toward hope, healing, and lasting change.”

The groundbreaking ceremony will take place across from the Ladish Center at 34700 Valley Road, Oconomowoc, WI 53066 at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, July 15. Following a brief program, Rogers representatives on site will be available for requested interviews.
