Give them a hand: Infection Prevention & Control Team promote safety through Global Hand Hygiene Day, flu vaccination clinics
Rogers’ Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) team deserves a thank you for their outstanding work in recent health and safety awareness efforts.
As part of Global Hand Hygiene Day, the team created an engaging display reminding us of the importance of hand hygiene in keeping our patients, visitors, and coworkers safe.
In addition, the IPC team helped lead the way in vaccination efforts by promoting our recent employee flu shot clinics, which is another key step in protecting ourselves and those we care for this season. The clinics were a huge success this year, with 631 staff members vaccinated on site.
“We appreciate their ongoing efforts to keep our facilities safe, healthy, and informed,” says Sam Roberson, Executive Director of Nursing Services. “Please join us in recognizing the IPC team for their commitment and creativity in infection prevention!”
