LPC Day in Georgia
Team members from our Atlanta clinic participated in LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) Day at the Georgia state capitol. The event was designed to promote awareness of the role professional counselors play in the mental health landscape while providing legislators with a better understanding of how LPCs are key to addressing the state’s mental health needs.
Rogers was a proud sponsor for Georgia LPC day. Nathan Butzen, PsyD, director of outpatient services, gave a presentation on Rogers in the morning for about 60 LPCs. The group then went to the capitol building to advocate for various mental health bills and build awareness for the profession.
Tampa Game Show Fun and Hockey Outing
Teammates participated in a Family Feud game hosted by their clinic support coordinator, Terrill. The game consisted of the adult staff vs. the child and adolescent staff, where the child and adolescent staff won by a landslide! Still, fun was had by everyone involved, and the winning team received trophies.
The Tampa team was recently invited to attend Hockey Talks, a mental health awareness game hosted by the Tampa Bay Lightning. They had the opportunity to snag a photo on the team’s bench after the game and were gifted a signed hockey stick from Lightning captain Victor Hedman!
Trivia Fundraiser for Free Clinic
Colleagues from Oconomowoc took part in Trivia Night 2025, a fundraiser for the Lake Area Free Clinic. Located in Oconomowoc, the clinic provides free medical and reduced fee dental services to the community.
Spreading the Love
The Community Learning and Engagement team met in Sheboygan, where two of their teammates manage the Coaching for Success program. They gave a whole lot of love back to the community by making Valentines for Project Angel Hugs, an organization that helps nurture the emotional needs of children who have cancer, and their families.
