‘A better life for myself as a mom, a wife, and a human being’: Kenosha telehealth patient shares gratitude for DBT program

A patient who received DBT Mental Health Recovery treatment through telehealth reached out to share her gratitude.

“The DBT program has taught me more than I could have imagined. The biggest impact I had from the program was from my therapists. They were able to break down all things DBT in a way that was easy to understand by giving real life and personal examples, which also helped me feel like I could relate to them. Overall, this really helped me to understand that I am not alone and I am not the only person who struggles. I will always cherish my time at Rogers and I will recommend this facility to anyone who may need it. The Rogers DBT program has truly changed my perspective on life and has ultimately allowed me to create a better life for myself as a mom, a wife, and a human being.”

Kandis Gallentine was the patient’s therapist.

“Seeing the feedback about her treatment experience makes me so grateful to be able to offer DBT to people because I know how life changing it is,” Kandis says. “I am proud of her for her motivation to improve and her dedication to the program.”
