Addiction can be a challenging topic to discuss with children, but it doesn’t have to be! When your child attends a SOAR workshop hosted by Rogers Behavioral Health, they gain more than just understanding. They also get to:
- Explore their feelings in a safe space while participating in activities with their peers.
- Build a self-care kit as they learn about mindfulness, coping, and resiliency.
- Create and take home educational arts and crafts projects.
These workshops are available to children ages 6 through 15. Please note that children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Workshops will take place on Saturdays from 9 am to 2 pm. 2026 workshop dates and locations include:
- January 31 in Oconomowoc
- February 28 in West Allis
- March 28 in Brown Deer
- April 25 in Oconomowoc
- May 30 in West Allis
- June 27 in Brown Deer
- July 18 in Oconomowoc
- August 29 in West Allis
- September 26 in Brown Deer
- October 24 in Oconomowoc
- November 21 in West Allis
- December 19 in Brown Deer
