New outpatient location helps address growing behavioral health needs across the Chippewa Valley
CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis. – Helping address a significant gap in behavioral health services across the Chippewa Valley, Rogers Behavioral Health opened its new Chippewa Falls clinic in early November, expanding access to specialized mental health and substance use treatment services.
The new site, treating adults and teens, will serve as an important complement to Rogers’ future behavioral health treatment center currently under construction in Chippewa Falls, which is expected to open in 2027.
Located at 2829 Co Hwy I, Suite 2B, Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, the new clinic will treat conditions such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, and substance use disorder, making it easier for people in the area to access evidence-based behavioral healthcare closer to home.
Rogers’ Chippewa Falls clinic will offer partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) treatment, structured programming that allows patients to receive care throughout the week while they continue to live at home. This supports a larger continuum of care, allowing patients to easily transition between levels of treatment. Additional levels of care, including residential and inpatient treatment, will be available at Rogers’ new behavioral health treatment center when it opens in 2027.
“Addressing the behavioral health needs of a community requires strong partnerships, shared commitment, and a clear understanding of local needs,” says Cindy Meyer, president and CEO of Rogers Behavioral Health. “We’re grateful for the collaboration and support we’ve received across the Chippewa Valley, and we’re proud to take this next step in expanding access to treatment, helping ensure individuals and families can access effective mental health care close to home, at the moment they need it.”
The Chippewa Falls clinic will offer both in-person and virtual care, helping reduce barriers to treatment for individuals balancing other life commitments such as work, school, and family responsibilities.
“Mental health challenges don’t wait, and neither should access to care,” says Audrey Simmons, Rogers Behavioral Health vice president of operations in the Chippewa Valley and Wausau. “When someone is ready to seek help, timely access to treatment can make a meaningful difference. We’re excited to bring additional services to the Chippewa Valley and help more individuals connect with the support they need.”
The new clinic reflects Rogers’ ongoing commitment to collaborating with local healthcare providers, educators, public health agencies, community organizations, elected leaders, and families to improve access to high-quality behavioral health care throughout the Chippewa Valley and western Wisconsin. Rogers recently opened a clinic in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, offering treatment for conditions including depression, OCD, anxiety, trauma, and PTSD.
