JointCommission.jpgThe Joint Commission survey will take place any time between now and August. During the unannounced visit, representatives will visit all patient-facing Rogers departments over the course of a week.

During the onsite survey, they will assess Rogers’ compliance with Joint Commission standards and provide education and best practice guidance to help our staff continually improve performance.

The last time The Joint Commission surveyed Rogers was in 2019. Since then, the Regulatory Affairs team has worked to make necessary improvements in preparation for the next survey. This has included updating processes, auditing our practices, and aligning our standard work.

Over the last year, Regulatory Affairs has collaborated with all sites, services, and teams to run through how the survey will go and prepare for tracer activities, which “trace” the care experiences a patient had during treatment.

All locations also participated last fall in full mock surveys through our partnership with Barrins & Associates. Additionally, since January, Regulatory Affairs team members have visited each site at least twice for final preparations.

The goal is to return to each location one more time before the unannounced Joint Commission survey.

Regulatory Affairs thanks all employees for their cooperation, dedication, and hard work in helping to ensure compliance in all areas.
