Rogers offers advancement through educational scholarships, discounts
01/18/22 03:30:pmRogers’ educational support offerings now include new partnerships with Carroll University in Waukesha, Wisconsin, and Concordia University in Mequon, Wisconsin, allowing more opportunities for employees to attend or return to school.
According to Sharon Braun, director of total rewards, 10% of Rogers staff members are currently taking advantage of our tuition reimbursement, scholarships, and loan forgiveness programs.
“In 2021, Rogers provided nearly $800,000 in education support for employees,” Sharon says. “This financial support helps employees achieve their career goals, improve their earning capacity, and work in a role that is most fulfilling to them.”

Rogers has partnered with Carroll to offer Rogers employees a 15% tuition discount.

Concordia University
Concordia and Rogers have partnered to provide tuition reduction scholarships for Rogers employees. Scholarships include $150 per course for adult accelerated undergraduate courses and $200 for eligible graduate program courses.

Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) School of Nursing
Through our partnership with MSOE, a fully funded two- or three-year scholarship program is available for five Rogers nursing employees. Starting in fall 2022, the opportunity is for those interested in pursuing a career as an advance practice registered nurse – psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner.
Current BSNs or MSNs from all Rogers locations with at least one year of full- or part-time employment are encouraged to apply. (Float pool employees are not eligible.) The application deadline is Tuesday, March 1 for the fall 2022 semester.

University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee
Upcoming scholarships will be available for employees interested or currently enrolled in UW-Milwaukee’s health sciences, nursing, public health, or social welfare programs. Stay tuned for information regarding future application deadlines.
Meanwhile, congratulations to Justin Brown, a patient care associate in West Allis, and Alexis Condy, a care transition specialist in West Allis who were recently named as recipients of two $4,500 scholarships for the spring 2022 semester.
