The holiday season on Rogers’ social media featured helpful mental health tips, inspiring stories, and expert input on important mental health topics. Miss out on all the action? Don’t forget to follow Rogers on Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok and to check out the social media tip sheet to learn how you can use social media to spread the word about Rogers.

Rogers’ top social media posts in December included:

  • Skokie unveils new building: Rogers’ top post on LinkedIn featured photos of the Skokie team enjoying their new clinic and a team ribbon cutting.
  • Sheboygan SOARs with new workshop: Photos from the inaugural Strength Over Addiction Recovery (SOAR) workshop in Sheboygan garnered widespread attention and was the top post on Facebook in December. The free workshop teaches children ages 6 to 15 about substance use and stigma through fun, age-appropriate activities.
  • “Rogers saves lives”: A powerful quote from Laura, a past patient, proved popular throughout social media and was the most-liked post of the month on Instagram. In addition to Laura’s inspiring words, many of Rogers’ followers left comments that Rogers had saved their life as well.
  • Beat the winter blues: TikTok’s top post featured fun ideas for activities to help you stay active during the cold winter season, including a winter hike, baking, and ice skating.

Want to see your team featured on Rogers’ social media pages? Here’s how!

Rogers team members across the organization can submit photos to be considered for social media and/or the Insight newsletter. To do so, please:

  • Take clear, quality photos. Past submissions have included team building activities, dress up days, team members volunteering in the community, and other community events.
  • Ask every team member in the picture if they’re comfortable with the photos potentially being shared externally and internally.
  • If everyone approves, email the original, unedited photo files, a description of what’s pictured, and confirmation that everyone has given their approval to photos@rogersbh.org.
