Want to see your team on Rogers’ social media pages? Here’s how…
07/18/24 01:00:pmSummer is in full swing, and Team Rogers is out in force at events throughout the country. On Rogers’ social media pages, this means sharing how our teams stay involved in the community – and big engagement numbers that set Rogers apart from other healthcare organizations, including:
- Up to 26 times higher engagement than the healthcare industry average on LinkedIn.
- Up to 14 times higher engagement than industry average on Facebook.
- Up to 5 times higher engagement than industry average on Instagram.
So what do these engagement numbers mean? When you click on a link or a picture in a post or like, comment on, or share a post, you’re contributing to our engagement rate! Posts with a higher engagement rate will be shown to more people, giving a wider audience the opportunity to learn about Rogers and what sets us apart.
Aided by the popular photos of Rogers team members, the top social media posts in June included:
- Awareness walks, parades, and more: The top post on Rogers’ Facebook and LinkedIn pages featured photos submitted by five different sites: Seattle, San Francisco, Oconomowoc, Philadelphia, and Sheboygan. From NAMI Walks to a local parade, Rogers’ followers love to see us out and about in the communities we serve.
- One final Jump for Archie: Rogers was proud to be part of Jump for Archie for its 10th and final time. The event features members of the community plunging into Oconomowoc’s Lac La Belle to raise awareness about the opioid epidemic in memory of Archie Badura, who died from a fentanyl overdose at the age of 19. Photos of members of Rogers’ Community Relations team with event founder Lauri Badura made up the most popular post of the month on Instagram.
- Celebrating Pride on TikTok: Rogers celebrated Pride Month on all social media platforms, with a TikTok post on how to be an ally being the top post on that platform.
How to submit photos and videos for social media
If your team is planning a fun summer team activity or attending a community event, be sure to submit photos for potential use on social media and in Insight. Simply follow these steps to get started:
- Take clear, quality photos and/or videos of members of your team. If taking a video, please be sure to film in a vertical format, and make sure no patients or patient-identifying materials are visible.
- Ask each team member in the photos or videos if they’re comfortable with those items being shared internally and externally.
- If everyone agrees, email the original, unedited photos and/or video files, a description, and confirmation that everyone has approved of those items being shared to photos@rogersbh.org.
